Transmogrification, or transmog, has been one of my favorite parts of WoW since it was added to the game in patch 4.3.0. Essentially, you can change your armor to look like other armor, with a few stipulations. The armor has to be the same kind (leather, cloth, plate, etc.) and there are certain items Blizzard banned from transmog. Other than that, it’s an easy, fun way to customize your look.
I remember when transmog hit Azeroth. I had just finished my first semester at university, and the new patch was a welcome distraction after finals. Besides running new content, my guildies and I revisited old content to pick up new gear to use for transmog. I spent hours finding the right look for my druid, and I’ve played with an almost identical look over the years. The only variations I’ve made are in color scheme and my weapon.
One of the things I’ve always liked about my transmog set is that it suits my character’s functional role: using nature to heal. A lot of druid sets incorporate plenty of brown, but I think that’s boring. I love intimidating, flashy looks for my plate-based classes, but I wanted something that felt druidic and gentle for this mog, rather than something that makes me look like a walking twig. The deep, natural colors give a more gentle and calming vibe–perfect for a healer!

How to Get this Transmog
The pieces in this mog are relatively easy to get, especially if you’re at level cap. All of the content is solo-able.
The key to building this mog is patience. The hardest parts include waiting for the shoulders to drop from Heroic Dragon Soul (damn you, weekly lockout!) and collecting enough tokens from the Darkmoon Faire for the replica vest.
