I’m Hannah, a 20-something writer & editor living in Washington, DC. I have a day job working as an editor and proposal manager, and when I’m not busy adulting, I play video games, blog, write short stories, and drink lots of coffee. (Ok, I always drink lots of coffee!)
Cats & Coffee started in January 2016 as a creative outlet. I’d always wanted my own blog (a real blog, not a Tumblr where I reblogged funny GIFs). I didn’t know what I wanted to write about, and after a lot of trial and error, I got the hang of things. I began overhauling Cats & Coffee in late 2016, and it officially became a geeky lifestyle blog in January 2017.
- I live with my boyfriend, Sargis, in a three-story townhouse just outside of Washington, DC. We have two cats, Iggy and Riker. I adopted Iggy before Sargis and I started dating, and we adopted Riker together in 2017.
- I’ve been playing tennis since I was four, but I’ve been playing video games since I was three!
- I went to Florida State University for my undergrad and graduate work. I studied English, political science, editing, and publishing.
- I edit blogs and books in my spare time.
